2008 ADVISORY COUNCILS

Westlake Village, CA – Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to building software that truly serves user needs, Compulink Business Systems, Inc. recently formed two Advisory Councils, each consisting of five highly successful ophthalmic practices.

The Compulink Advisory Councils convened for three days in March. The groups will meet annually, with web conferences scheduled during the year.

“Compulink has a long history of listening to our clients in order to design a product that minimizes key strokes, simplifies processes and provides tools to customize both the user interface and reporting” noted Darla Shewmaker, Outside Sales Manager for Compulink. “The Advisory Council was able to take a look at the needs of the industry, the requests from our clients and brain storm solutions in a focused environment that surpassed our previous planning sessions. The input from our Advisory Council members will be directly reflected in software and service enhancements in 2008 and beyond.”

Advisory Council Member practices were selected for their demonstrated ability to utilize Compulink software to enhance efficiency. These practices have embraced the concept of a “paperless office” and have implemented changes that have significantly advanced the practice toward achieving that goal.

One Advisory Council is comprised of ophthalmology practices, while the other Advisory Council is comprised of optometry practices.
